The LL&L Rumpus Room

I read the last Pern book that he cowrote with Anne. You can tell who is writing which section. And it made me wonder exactly how much ghost-writing he has been doing for her in the past few years. IMHO, he is not as good, but he does a passable job of copying her style. Just the characters are less, I dunno, appealing... He doesn't have the same touch with them that she did. And I am pretty sure he might have been ghost-writing a good bit of her books since Dolphins of Pern. Except for Masterharper of Pern--that one was all Anne.

So to sum it up, he is a decent writer, but he is not his mother...
