Grave of the Fireflies was so sad. I was not expecting that level of sad and reality from anime.

I've mostly just tried what everyone here has recommended. When I pick on my own, I seem to be a crap anime magnet. LOL Any other recommendations are good.

I intend to see Howl's Moving Castle, but mostly because I loved the book when I was a kid.
