The LL&L Rumpus Room

I don't blame you. The only reason why there were reviews all over the reviewing page was because I held a reviewing contest with the biggest prizes I could raise to tempt people. I still can't believe some actually read the whole thing. Half the time I look at it with the intention to continue editing it, and my brain just goes, "Nuh uh" and switches off.

As it happens, this is a perfect opportunity for me to brag, because I just finished my first book in two years, and it's actually kind of normal-sized. It might not make it to LL&L for a while, but it's done and it's a first draft and it's not even 80K. Wish I could tell you where it's taking the sci-fi genre, but I don't even know. To me, it's an extremely emotional and personal kind of story, not a big, epic, genre-defining dealio. But that's what I seem to like to do. I'm the sort of person who doesn't know what they're doing until someone tells them.

I think I've read at least a small portion of one of everyone's projects, except for Cat, Dark Lady, and of course our newcomer Elspeth. I know I've read a novel of Dawn's, Raine's, Chy's, and Lon's in its entirety. I try to get around to everyone, but people keep going on and off hiatus, or switching their items around. Or not finishing them. *pokes Arwee*
