The starting Contest Points for the month of June have been Posted on the "Invalid Item" .

You will now notice as well that some of the scores are in decimals even though you may not be participating in the SFWG Monthly Writing Contest. This is because the Scouting Points will from this point on now be divided up weekly so all scores are current and accurate to the decimal (or I hope). If you spot any errors, please notify me immediately. All Contest Points for June so far are up to Khu Post #2668 and the Resricted Book up to Post #172. If you Posted after these Post numbers, you will NOT be listed on the Boards with a score next to your name yet.

Also, Raider Pays, Mage Cuts (Study Hall) and Contest Winnings for May are being compiled and sent out now as well.


For this week's Raid I thought that I would try something a little different. For all Newbies: On a normal week, Raids are group-reviews we conduct on a non-SFWG Member(s). In short, we take down their Port with a mass of reviews. Skirmishes are the same idea, only we review to pieces our own selves, or SFWG Members.

This week however, I thought I would try something new:


Special Mega-Skirmish Week!
  

         Most of you are aware of the basic Raiding/Skirmishing rules and all, so think of this as the same thing with a few extra bonuses attached to it. If you are not sure yet of the rules of Raiding, then buzz me one and I’ll be happy to fill you in.
 
I have been watching everyone lately as it is to some degree my job, and I have pulled the following souls out of my list of hard workers:

The rules are simple; pick an item in any of these individuals Ports, review it, drag it back to Khu and repeat for every one of these SFWG Members. 10 in all which also makes you a War Hero/Heroine. But instead of going home at the end of this week with a measly 1k, you can go home with either 10k or a Fantasy Merit Badge, your choice. Sound easy? Excellent. The only catch is that small pickings (eg. pictures, folders as themselves, too many poems) will get you growled on by me and if I end up growling at you three times I may revoke your earnings and give you something less than 10k worthy. You also have only until Sunday 12:01am to get all your Skirmishing on these individuals done. The item you review does not have to be Fantasy-related or on the Boards to count.
 
If you just happen to BE one of these souls, then you have the option of reviewing a past Skirmished as listed on the Main SFWG Board. Also, if you wiped any of these souls off of the map already, you can pick a different soul to Skirmish from the Main SFWG Board.
 
Regular Raiding rules and Contest Points are still in effect for those just interested in the basic paycheck as well, and if you don’t tackle all 10 souls you will still earn a good cut for trying. If you are unsure as to what item to tackle first in these Ports, you can also visit here: "Invalid Entry"  and scan my list of who I still need to desperately need to catch up on and the items listed there.
 
Now the best part of this is that if you’re not already listed above and complete this mission, you will be on next week’s list for Skirmishing that may or may not include souls from the Charity Of Reviews regardless of whether we Skirmished you in the past before this Special one or not. Depending on how this picks up, I may include a third week of this Special Skirmishing as well. If there are more than 10 Raiders who finish this Mission, then who goes on the next list of ten will vary on the size of the items reviewed, and those who are rather skinny from their pickings and plundering will go on the third Special Skirmish list should there be one.
 
But the point of this mission is to increase exposure and get a taste of a nice assortment of fellow friends and writers within SFWG. So have fun and let Khu have it!
