I really dislike this faux poetry called prose poetry. What the hell is that? You either write a prose piece or you write poetry but don't turn your inability to master either form and call it by another name.


I must agree. I have found some pieces that I'm still wondering about.
Although I'm probably just as guilty at times.

The most I can say about "Free verse" is that it works best when it's a subject you feel strongly about. Other than that, you can't really pin down the forumula for it, if you did then it wouldn't be "Free verse".

Just write from the heart, it is the only rule I believe that applies to all forums(and Free verse).
Do this and you can't go wrong.
