A wee Newby

Recently joined and enjoying. Saw this forum mentioned and like the sound of it. I am struggling a bit with a novel at the moment and to be honest beign here is a great excuse for not getting on with it.Thing is I have interest from a publisher and almost because of that or something deeper within me lurking am almost paralised in the face of it. Thin this has to do with....if I finish I might have to then be rejected in spite of a good idea...the execution deemed weak or something. It is a mind thing.....my mind is playing with me.....while before I managed not too bad.
Anyone else suffer??? anything similar
