I don't have any pets but my brother has a puppy. Her name's Lizzy and she is a pickapoo (sp?) - a mix of a pickanese and a poodle. She is so cute and adorable with natural highlights... She absolutely loves clothes. She's got lots of sweaters, sweat shirts, a raincoat, a hooded jacket, a bandena, and cute little pink shoes. Sometimes she takes a sweater from her pile brings it to us and barks so we put it on her. And when we dress her she puts out her paws so we can insert them into the sleeves. She loves to play a few games. One of them is throw and fetch the cashemere sweater. We throw it and like a speeding bullet she runs after it. Another is soccer. We bought her a kids-size basketball and she uses it to play soccer around the house. And when we play it with her she runs around trying to steal the ball and prevent us from taking it. Yeah, she can score a goal. I call her the little soccer champ. Also, when we ask her, "Where's the ball?" or "Where's snaky?" she brings us the ball or the toy...hehe She doesn't sleep on the floor like other dogs but prefers snuggling in between my brother and his wife. And she doesn't just lie down. She walks around to find the right spot and then sighs and snuggles under the blankets. She's got sooooo much love to give. What a face licker she is. And she can sense when we are coming even before we ring the bell and starts barking... She likes drinking out of the water bottle. We hold down the bottle, she sticks her tongue into the opening and starts to lick the water with her tongue. So funny. I can say she loves human food much better than dog food. And fruits and nuts are her favorite. She adores dried cranberries, apricots, and raisins, apples, watermelon, corn on the cob, and pine nuts (among others)... Oh and of course she can do quite a few tricks...(Guess I'll just list 'em) When she is told to... 1) sit she sits down 2) down she lies down 3) up she gets up 4) give me your paw she gives it 5) be cute she lies down and makes this cute face and wiggles her tail 6) high five she gives a high five 7) high ten/i} she picks up both front paws and gives high five with each one simultenously 8) She can walk on her back paws with the front ones up in the air 9) She can stand stand on her back paws and spin in a circle like a ballerina 10) She can lie down with her back on the tennis ball and roll on it while moving her paws Alrighty, this is our talented Lizzy. A while ago, I've told my brother to send a tape of her to America's funniest home videos, but he never did. She could have been a winner...But we'll never know... |
