Query away! Your potential publisher will want a query letter. As for the synopsis, while not all publishers ask for it, some (if not most, I don't know statistics or anything,) will, and I can't really say I've prepared you guys as much as possible if you don't do one, so...
I hope it's not too much trouble. And on last rounds judging, I'm still waiting to hear back from one judge. If I still haven't heard back by the end of the month, we'll just work with the judge we've got, like what we're doing with the romance/erotica genre.
