My disability lawyer said that the polls show that 93% of those who finally receive disability benefits from Social Security would definitely prefer working to staying home if they could. And they certainly would choose to be rid of pain and chronic illnesses if they could!
It's great that you do understand. Even spouses often don't. I think you are both blessed to have each other. He may be your inspiration, but it sounds as if you're the best cheerleader he could have.
