Noticing Newbies

My name is Glenn and I wrote a book. Well, I guess it is still a manuscript. The story is a coming of age, fictional, adventure set in the late19th century. Anyway, I posted the first chapter here on writers.com. I am a pretty green writer if I do say so. This project is my first. I am also an actor. I am 27 living in LA. Publishing is harder then I thought...for sure. Well, what else can I say? I hope you all enjoy the beginning of my story as I will surly read through some of yours.
