Myth, You already know that migraines are often tied to FMS. What I can't tell from your comment is whether or not you feel your doctor believes that FMS is a real problem, or if she is one of the group that still thinks it's all in our heads. If she really believes it's real, find out how much she knows about it. If she doesn't sound too knowledgeable, or doesn't seem too interested in learning more about it, you may want to look around for a doctor that is serious about FMS, and who knows that dealing with it is still a learning process for doctors AND patients. Just a thought. Because Kenzie and I are very lucky. We both have doctors that fully understand FMS is real and still being researched. And we also have a chiropractor whose belief in the existence of FMS is just as strong as the doctors'. So we're in good hands (sorry for the bad pun - ![]() Discuss this openly with your doctor and satisfy yourself about her knowledge level and interest in learning more about it. Then take it from there. The sooner you start, the better your chance of keeping that perfect job you have right now. And remember - our group here is standing right beside you. |
