         I love the sense of humor you have in regard to your medical situation. I have no doubt that your approach to dealing with your situation, not the least part of which is that humor, will get you through anything that comes your way.
         Proof? Kenzie and I do the very same thing. We have a good number of "inside jokes" (lines we use with each other where no one else would understand the meaning, subject, or humor behind them), and a group of comments we DO use in public when a good opportunity arises. All designed to keep us smiling about our mutual Fibro issues, and the chronic pain and fatigue that comes with them.
         An example for you. I am only four years older than Kenzie. Yet one of our favorite lines we'll openly use in public if an appropriate opportunity presents itself has to do with that age difference. Whether it's because someone asks about that difference, or I suddenly groan from a new Fibro pain, whatever the comment, Kenzie will turn to me, smile and say, "Well, you ARE so much older than I am!" Then we both start laughing, loving the puzzled look on the third person's face as they try to figure out why being so "old" is funny.
          We have many others, too, and we love every one of them. Keep that sense of humor, and you'll do just fine. And I echo Kenzie's comment: we ARE very glad you've chosen to join WDC, AND our forum.
