A place for the younger 'teen' writers to hang out, share views, make friends etc |
Hey Kaitlin, Hope you do get your license. I'll cross my fingers for you. Strangely though I can't get one till I'm 18. Lucky you. Thanks for the advice. But I guess before I could sign up for the Upgrade someone decided to do that for me. Bless that person. It seems you do a lot of activities. You are in the US right? It must be cool. We don't get to do much activities here in Kuwait. If I was back in India it would be more fun. Here all we do is study. We can't go out alone or even in gangs. Its not safe here. The Kuwaiti kids treat us like inferiors(most of them). Only we're not bothered. Kuwaiti teens roam the streets in cars. There have been many kidnappings, murder, robbery etc. My Dad got stabbed once. They were trying to steal his wallet. It was a horrible time. It still is actually. Now there's some lunatic known as the Hawally Monster.(hawally is a city here) He specialises in kidnapping young girls. Well you got a pic of what life is like here. But most of us try to make the best of it. Sorry I wrote so much. I got carried away. Come back often. Your New Friend, Word Smith PS:Send in your birthdate so we can wish you |
