Many of us do the same thing Jean. I think we overdo it sometimes because on the days we feel good we want to take advantage of that feeling by doing things we would put off if we were feeling bad. Unfortunately we also have a tendency to overdo it and pay for it later. Our bodies are just not used it and it rebels. I know when I overdo I have a very hard time moving later. My joints are even stiffer and my muscles ache to the point I want to cry. With rhematoid arthritis fatigue is a big problem. The kind of fatigue that makes you feel like your trudging through mud. So when I have a day with a bit of extra energy I want to get things done that I normally can't do. I overdo as well and the fatigue is even worse later. I think we just need to try and remember those "afters" and the way be paid the price and we'll do better about pacing ourselves.
Don't feel bad Jean. We have all done it and paid the price.
