"Invalid Item" ![]() Damia ![]() ![]() I give it 5 stars Alone Reaching out to touch you, I feel that you're not there. Wondering and waiting, slow feelings of despair. Single, yet connected, with vague moments of dread I wish to mourn and grieve, but feel empty instead. A miasma of doubt, despair slips over me, Permeating my soul, tears fall despondently. Shaky contemplations, for my sins I must atone. My punishment, I fear, to live my life alone. Still, I sit here waiting in wishing, hoping pain, For you to come to me and never leave again. This is a dream of mine, a castle in the air, That you will love me, too. A wish beyond compare. No matter what the cost to mind and soul and heart I wish to be with you, to never be apart. But this, I cannot have, I know beyond a doubt. To this I am resigned, you I must live without. I can't help my dreaming, no warnings will I heed. Rifted soul in torment. Your love, the balm I need. Eternity, I wait. Forever and a day, To hear the simple words, I long to hear you say. "I love you" echoes loudly through my fantasies To love and marry you. You ask on bended knee. And from this dream I wake. I sigh and smile, then groan, As I reach out for you, to find that I'm alone. |
