her award-winning breasts
once tall and triumphant
sag against sheer fabric
of the faded pale pink dress

her long blonde coiffure
radiant and shimmering
now timeworn and lifeless
whittled scant for ease

her stark-white toothy grin
prior pride of judging eyes
stained by her two best friends
the twins, nicotine and caffeine

her skin of milk and honey
a tad of blush too much
substitute wrinkles, blemishes
the blueprint of her life
