Spacing advice?

Howdy :)
I've posted a short thing for a contest (please don't read it, it's a very graphic horror for a contest)
Anyway, one of the reviewers suggested double spacing between paragraphs for an easier read. The story is very short, 117 words and 5 paragraphs, one of the paragraphs is only one word.
What do you think? Do you prefer double spacing between paragraphs on a story of that size?
