Actually, Gen (or is it Jene, Jean, Gene, whatever) jumped into the river on that particular episode 'cause he saw the counterfeit gold sitting at the bottom. Banzai! And that fight between him and Kagetoki Kariya (the government assassin you were talkin' about) was SO ill. I caught an episode of Samurai Champloo about a year ago on Adult Swim and ever since then, I have smoked a blunt and watched EVERY episode that came on. I even bought the final three episodes on DVD about a month ago. You got me feeling nostalgic, so I'm gonna go smoke some weed and watch it now.
