A place for adults to discuss writing and write intelligently on any topic, from E and up |
I don't know of anyone who has a yellow case just because someone liked them. That doesn't mean it hasn't happened. I don't know that many people here. I do know that they are supposed to meet certain criteria and if they stop meeting that criteria, they go back to black cases. Some yellow cases tend to look down on black cases, though that rarely seems to be the "case". In the event that anyone with a yellow case reads this post, and looks down on black cases, I think your particular problem was covered by Dr. Seuss and the "Star-Bellied Sneeches". We are all writers, some good, some bad...all wanting to get better. The folks that run this site, SM, SMS, Diane, and whoever else (I don't pay attention to who is what in Whoville) do a great job of running it. This site boasts over half a million members, keeping them all happy is a daunting task at best. I wouldn't want to be charged with it, especially since I know how hard I can be to please. They're obviously doing something right, we keep coming back. The main thing is this...if you want a yellow case...read, rate, review, write, donate, participate. You'll get noticed eventually. Me? I think there's something mysterious about a black briefcase. I like it. Oh! And I'm lazy. "You can't have a light without a dark to stick it in." (Arlo Guthrie) *****
