Indirect Response to A Public Question
I've learned in this life that is difficult to know who to trust and it is easy to put your alliances in one category to quickly. I fear I have friends who do not wholeheartedly look at the issues I present, which is fine. They can tell me to my face if they don't believe me when I say their is something amiss that may affect them too.

I have concerns that people at this website are spoiling the fun for others. I've had confirmation of this from many people in my walks through WDC, so I am not a liar. The difficult part of knowing who to believe lies in who has the most to gain by speaking mistruths. Some people don't want drama period. I respect that. I would never trouble anyone with my problems who I think does not have an interest in what I say.

Why do people then, hide from the truth. What are they afraid will happen if they start asking questions? Do they fear their privileges will be revoked. Do they feel they will no longer be a part of the in-crowd? How much fun is it to be with a bunch of snobby people who decide whether or not you are good enough to hang with them? Why do people forget their roots and put real people at the wayside when they just want to party?

I know all the answers to these questions and more, because I have struggled with it. I have the wisdom and intellect to separate trash from treasure. I'm saddened to see treasures that throw themselves away and don't allow recylcers like myself to come along and pick them up. They choose to trust what is not real, what will take from them but never give. I give. I never quit giving. I'm loyal, hard working and trust worthy. Life and experience have hardened me to the tender core.

I can have fun and put on the rose colored glasses. I can take them off and see the real issues. I choose to have it both ways. I'm at the party, even if I'm not wanted, because I know there are others who suffer and need a hand. If they reject, I ask why? Why not trust someone who is real and start to question what the others are trying to sell you? I have nothing to gain...I have everything to lose. I risk losing friends because...I CHOOSE. I ache each night because of these choices, and the path I must not fear to follow.
