I'll jump in here.

2. I would say that the split is worse now than in previous time for a variety of reasons: the gay rights issue, the immigration issue, and the war being a few.

3. I think people on the left and the right are both flawed. On the more hard-core issues (for lack of a better term) I tend to be conservative. But on a lot of social issues I lean left.

4. I don't know the details on late-term abortion, but I do know way too many women use it as a form of birth control. And it's another human life, so it's not about the woman's body.
