The immigration bill has died again :( I was really hoping something could be worked out, but neither side wants to budge. Personally, I'm ok with 12 million new citizens, as long as they're not felons and they cant bring their cousins, aunts, uncles, and cousins baby step sisters husband.

I'm also ok with officials having the *option* of performing civil unions or even gay marriage, but I will always vote against it because there will always be some or another form of coercion to do it.
