I'm grateful it is available, too. I just wish that people would speak more about the lesser known reasons for abortion. I hate that it is a political football, as well.

Honestly, do you think any of those politicians give a rats arse if abortion continues? I seriously doubt they lose sleep over it. They just pander to the masses and whatever they believe the masses want to hear.

If beastiality was a mainstay of popular culture they'd probably stand at the podium on debate night professing a deep love of goats. It's that absurd and that pathetic.

Abortion and gay rights always come up--not because they are relevant to the functioning of our government--but as a slight of hand trick to dupe the dullards into thinking they have spotted a right & proper "red blooded American" candidate. Those topics are always sure to pique the prurient interests of certain elements in our society...afterall, there's sex, the opportunity to judge others and claim moral "high ground"...perfect for a candidate wanting to get some knee-jerk votes/attention.
