There has been a history of terror attacks in Turkey from Kurds, but since then Turkish policies have lightened up on the Kurds(since Turkey is trying to join the EU). I think the situation can be handled more or less. And I wouldn't blame the Kurds if they closed the boarders off, they are not responsible for what their neighbors chose to do with themselves.
And there are Sunnis against Al Qaeda, this is true, and sad for them, but it doesn't neccissarily mean they're against killing Americans. There's just not nearly enough
