I found for me that I'm getting so much out of an Adults With Asperger's group that meets in my area. People understand!!! (It's amazing!)
Another thing is finding ways that I can calm myself. For me, a lot of them have to do with "sensory." (And always have, even before using that word.) Rubbing my hands, closing my eyes, being by myself, trying to focus on the words of a song, and now more obvious sensory stuff like weighted blankets and balls and such...
But, for anyone finding some sort of way to calm is so important. Is there anything he particularly likes?
