I've had one at Aberrant Dreams, too, since April 2nd, with no word. So that's 6 months and I think their guidelines say 1 to 5 months -- so not too far over yet for me. I hate when mags don't respond to queries though. I'd say pulling it is a valid choice if you have another market to sub it to. You could always send them an email (letter?) officially withdrawing the story, just to keep it professional. The shame of it is that we, as writers, have to always worry about keeping it professional but some of these mags just do whatever they please. Blah!
