Glass lies shattered on the tarmac
As the traffic goes whizzing by
The mangled wreckage
Left by the firemen
Who rescued those trapped inside

Glass lies shattered on the tarmac
And glistens in the blood
Left by the dead and the dying
Rushed to the hospital
By the weary paramedics

Glass lies shattered on the tarmac
Spilled from a now open boot
Where a few beer bottles remain
Unbroken from the crash
The worst kind of end
To such a killer party
