Well, as the mother of a soldier that has been to Iraq and is shortly on his way to Afghanistan (sp), I can honestly say I don't believe in this war but I do show support for the troops.
To me this is merely another crusade being waged. No I'm not a Muslim.
The reason I say I support the troops is simple, they are following orders. Many of them feel the same as some of us civilians, they don't believe in this war either. The difference being that if they do not perform their duties they are dishonorably discharged and their lives are ruined but if we don't do anything to support the war nothing is done. We cannot be forced to do anything. So I do see a difference between supporting the troops and supporting the actions the troops are sent to take.
