In my rounds, I hear many people speak of their shrinking review totals. It sounds like it is discouraging for members to review knowing items will be deleted and their review credits will diminish. I wonder if the statistics can be preserved, even if the actual reviews cannot be saved when items are deleted for whatever reasons.
It affects community recognition, as well. Foremost, that should be preserved to give an indicator of the review effort members have given to sustain and encourage them their continued reviewing efforts.
I hear people say they consider reviewing older members because it is less likely their reviews will be expunged from this site. I know the focus is on welcoming new members, and the shrinking review totals could be hampering that effort.
