There's a flash fiction, why not a flash poetry? Round Five is on hold some more. |
I have read every entry and I must say it was really hard to choose the three winners! But over the time and challenge I finally picked out the best that suited the idea of this epic flash poetry contest. First place goes to:
This was very descriptive with an intense twist in just five lines! It reads very much like a story. Second place goes to:
This was beautiful in imagery and the emotion in it struck me throughout the whole piece. And the honorable third place is awarded to:
This was credited with the message within the story that flowed straight-forward. I enjoyed reading everyone's entries, and although everyone can not win a prize in one round, I hope to see you all again when the next one arrives. Many entries were excellent, but there were some with errors, and some didn't attract my yearning for a glorious story. But this is just the first round. It takes time to get the gist of the contest, and by keeping a try at it, everyone else here also has a big shot at the prizes. So I invite you to try again everyone! Thank you for participating in my contest everyone, and for the record, you all will be noted of your fee entry so I can keep up with who paid and who didn't in future rounds. Round two will start as soon as a prompt is devised for everyone. Sweetheart
