We like it hot and sexy! |
long, long ago...we won't get specific...this little girl named Sonya lived in a little 2 bedroom ranch in Fairbanks, Alaska. One day while she and her older brother were playing in the giant snowbank outside, her boot got stuck! It stayed in the snowbank and Sonya went inside. The boot was recovered months later when the snow melted... Still, she remembers watching the aurora on the roof of the University with her father while he researched his PhD, cheering the dog races, looking at the stuffed polar bear that stood in the lobby of the bank, hiking near Mt. McKinley, smelling bluebells in the short spring, her eskimo parka, the totem pole downtown and picking blueberries. Oh! And the giant snowblower trucks that cleared our streets...you couldn't push the stuff anywhere, so they hauled it away to dump on the river. It might have been cold, there was lots of snow and I guess it was dark much of the winter (why I remember winter festivals full of christmas lights)...but I survived to move south to warmer climes. I like it here. But I can still complain when my nose gets cold ![]() ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** http://sonyadgrady.com Grand Prize Winner of the 2006 FTHRW Wallflower Contest--Published Author Division |
