Absolute Horror Film Forum

Nothing's wrong with pumpkinhead, I love it! It was just a really low budget film that some people laugh at, so I included it because regardless of that it has one of the coolest creatures ever created for film, and they did it without ever using CG...gah, it makes me angry. It really does have no place in horror flicks.

Species huh? That's too bad. I like that movie, now I think I may have to be a little angry at it ;). But you're right. Really good flick up until you have a cartoon alien running around. I don't know why anyone finds that kind of stuff impressive. Hard to do I'm sure, but a real, in your face monster is so much more intimidating.

I know horror will never go away, thank all that is good for that :). I just wish that I went to a theatre today and saw films that I knew would be classics like Alien, Re-Animator, Evil Dead 2. Films these days generally just don't leave me with that same feeling.
