There's actually no way to give yourself an awardicon. If so, many of us would have given ourselves awardicons by now. *lol*
What you might see is people who have 'transferred' items from one port to another. Meaning the original creators of the item might have given it to whoever owns the item now. *wonders if she's confused herself*
