All the Parades

*Loath
*Endevor
*Opulent
*Crop
*Prevail

All the parades have fizzled out
New costs crop up
Communities loath to go dutch
On the price
Old tourists stop coming
Too worn down to care
New tourists
Will go anywhere
Else
Small town America never could
Prevail
Once fast transportation came into effect
All the parades
Were the same parade anyway
An opulent endevor to look like
You've got something special
Without straying too far from the pack
