Hello everyone, I apologize for being away so long but I am back and looking for the TREK-Obsessed to collaboratively produce an ongoing, installment-type Star Trek short story.
I suggested this premise last year and again, I apologize for being away for so long but believe me when I say that a LOT has been going on in my Life.

So, in terms of "making it so", I have a suggestion for the initial twist of this story: a return to an "oldie but goodie" in the form of what was once an impossibility. Two prototype starships have been built that can not only operate at high warp under cloak, but can fire while cloaked, the twist is their primary weapon is the next generation Quantum OMEGA class torpedoes that are faster, smarter, have a maximum warhead yield the equivalent of five standard Quantum torpedoes and they are CLOAKED! That's right, invisible starships that fire invisible smart weapons. But WHO built them? WHO is using them? What is the goal? The Federation is in turmoil, fragile alliances and treaties are on the brink of collapse as every major power falls prey to mysterious, unprovoked attacks that in the absence of evidence makes EVERYONE suspect! How can you combat an enemy you cannot see or defend against a weapon you cannot detect? Fear and paranoia revive old prejudices and as the forward-thinking and progressive fall back on the old, less civilized stances how will the new Federation fare? The scales tip daily, tensions build, and from outside the Federation a newly formed council of guardians--- comprised of the Q, Species: 8472, and Odo, progenitor of the new evolution of Changelings and master of a vastly different Dominion--- wonder if the various races can be left in control of their own destinies any longer.

When Bajor is attacked, a final dynamic is introduced and the Council finds themselves in the company of an eternal being that urges the council to be patient as opposed to interfering...

And of course, theres the BORG...


This, my peers and fellow fans and enthusiasts is the rough beginnings of FORGOTTEN SONS.
