Suggestion Box

I know that Papillon has also suggested this genre (in 2001), but I'd like to second it. My sister writes quite a bit of patriotic material, and she thought it would be a great idea to have such a genre.

Political doesn't quite fit... since most times when we're talking about patriotic things, we're not talking about politics. Military also doesn't fit as well, mainly because you can be saying something patriotic that doesn't involve the military.

When looking through the other genres available on writing.com, none seem to truly cover this topic. I've read many works on this wonderful site that would benefit from the addition of a patriotic genre.
