Noticing Newbies

Hi Alyssa, welcome to WDC

Trust me, we all feel like that as new writers. Friends and family are normally always supportive and like what we write, but when we first open up and let 'Joe public' read our work we wonder what will happen.

The main thing is to take that first jump and put it out there. You'll get many helpful reviews, and it's not important whether they like your writing or not, it's important how you feel about your writing. If you are willing to accept contructive criticism about your work and are open to ideas then you will grow into a wonderful writer.
