Especially for LDS and Friends!

I think it's great! Discussion is wonderful. I started the group because I wanted to meet more people "like me" at least in love of writing and the Gospel. It just feels like life gets really busy for all my good intentions.

Yep, good teachers are powerful. Of course, that's one of the ironies of me and this teacher. She's not what I would call a "good teacher". My heart ached to watch her struggle against a class of rebellious teens that could run circles around her - and did. Then they would scoff and laugh at her behind her back. She gave me full credit for the assignment and was just thrilled that I was writing. I think that's part of why I want her name written on a book - a sort of immortality, an honor for an everyday human who fought and struggled and probably seemed a "failure" to most. I have had some wonderful teachers that I'll learned so much from and always remember - the ones that inspire you. But this other teacher was different. What I learned from her wasn't academics. I guess it has more to do with humility, and society. How cold and cruel the "popular crowd" can be. About respecting your elders.
