If you've got desires to fulfill.
No need to excerpt your ethics
Or, worse yet, cut them short
On my account.

If the market doesn't want you, do you even count?
Honey, esurient euphony is not what I espouse.
Give me the real thing
Even when it's an unpleasant chewing sound.
'Cause I am not for sale
See the price was never right.
Hey, I am not for sale.
Don't tell me I got to be somebody
When I'm already somebody else.
The market would've eaten me if it had had its way
