It doesn't come to a conclusion, but here is my work for Friday. (A little late, but I just re-discovered the forum.) Sometimes I tire of the skeptics anaphoric questions: What if, what if, what if? OK, what if I become the abnegator and give up the very truth of God so that you can rely on your man-made theories to subdue me? What if my God, as you call Him, were truly as acarpous as you feel He is? What if we felt as if we must become aniconic in order to please the politics of the day? For those who need to know: anaphoric – The deliberate repetition of a word or phrase at the beginning of several successive verses, clauses, or paragraphs. aniconic – Not employing or permitting images, idols, etc. abnegator – One who gives up or relinquishes or renounces something acarpous – Having no fruit, barren Amanda and twyls, the twins Things are beautiful if you love them - Jean Anouilh "Invalid Item" ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
