I agree with the other replies. So long as you write 50,000 words in 30 days, you win. Trust me, that goal is nothing to sneeze at. Use the buddy system! Send encouraging notes! (Hint, hint, see below...) Brainstorm, plan, outline, then write, write, write! By my estimation, based on the experiment done by "Invalid Item" , you'll have to write an average of at least 45 minutes every day (!!!) in order to complete the challenge. Use every trick you can think of to keep yourself motivated. In fact, I don't even see why you and your boyfriend couldn't compare notes regularly to give each other ideas about the story, so long as you each write 50,000 words by November 30.
