Suggestion Box

I suppose you could say I'm trying to see this from SMs perspective. This isn't so much as a waste of effort, but rather SM could probably be doing things that would be beneficial to more WDC members. See, a lot of upgrades are those that are going to be useful for a lot of people. Though I find it sad, us math types are really pretty far into the minority.

I wouldn't mind seeing something like the formula editor (or whatever it's called now) in Microsoft word). However, the problem is that as of right now, it doesn't seem like WDC is set up for that kind of thing. I imagine it'll probably take redoing the whole system.

It seems like it's going to be a lot of work, to aid a handful of people. If SM has the free time, I'd say go for it, but I can't see this being very high in priority.



If I was in your situation... I would take a screen shot of the formula. Crop the screen shot so I only have the formula, and then use that image in whatever work needs that formula. It might require me zooming out in word though for it to meet the WDC size limit (or zooming in if it's too small).


Hopefully, that will at least provide a temporary solution to your problem until SM can get around to adding more math-functionality.
