Reviewers Anonymous

I certainly don't ever intend to be discourteous, but such things are open to interpretation. I have never had my reviews described as any of the things you mention, but I have reviewed several brand-new users in the past week, and have given some 3's and 3.5's, so I thought it was possible that you meant those. It might be a good idea to come up with a specific example, rather than a general "What in the hell is up with mean, rude reviews?" While a specific example might put a particular reviewer on the spot, it would give us all a chance to discuss how it could be handled better, or whether it should be handled differently. I'd be happy to discuss any of the reviews I have done in this way, as it might be a useful exercise (sort of a review of the review).
