This contest is great - I love how it's not just a writing contest. I'm actually happy that I have a star; I didn't receive a star last time.

As for preferreds and published authors not participating in contests, I'm both. And I participate in contests.

This is a fun contest and if you feel as if it's a waste of your time, then think what you want and leave. Don't blame it on Em or Ariana for trying to make this a fun contest for everybody. It isn't fair to them if you think that their contest is a waste of time. It's a great contest with great prizes. All you have to do is work on getting those stars.
