Musical Muse Today's exercise is always a fun on in this household. I've found it pays not too concentrate to hard on the 'choosing', or you'll be at it all day, so try and believe in the good taste of your record collection, and leave it all up in the lap of the rock gods! Go over to your CD collection, close your eyes, and pick a CD at random. Pop it on your CD player and select a track at random. (If you have one of those fancy i-Pod malarkey things, simply 'shuffle'). Is there a narrative story there? Perhaps the title alone is enough to boost your muse, but pop on the music, turn it up loud and see where you mind wants to dance. Write The average pop song lasts 3mins 45 seconds.
