OK, I've played. I'll just post this here, although I may use the character study if I get a chance elsewhere.


Acme’s 23/9/ prompt.

1. What is your name?
Dellah Livingstone

2. What are you wearing?
An orange silk dressing gown.

3. Where are we right now?
We are sitting in my boudoir, waiting for my lover to arrive. You are the maid and my confidante.

4. Who is the last person you would want to see here?
My husband, of course!

5. Were you popular as a teenager?
The men still flock to my side during any social event. There are certain advantages in being beautiful, well educated, witty and rich. My mother knew this well.

6. Are you looking for something?
The fountain of youth.

7. Do you have a hobby, or a guilty pleasure?
Cheating on my husband, who isn’t man enough to put a stop to it, nor, if the truth be told, to satisfy me.

8. Have you ever made a decision that you regret?
Regret? What is that? Regrets are for the weak minded.

9. Has anyone ever broken your trust?
Every man I have ever known. That’s what they do best. Betrayal.

10. Where will you be this time tomorrow, and what will you be doing?
My mornings are always spent in male company. Always. And tomorrow is Friday. My husband’s younger brother Gerald always has lunch at the house. He comes several hours early, but my husband knows nothing of this.
