Those are some good ideas. I will admit that it's too restrictive for me. I love allowing my characters to have the room they need to take control of the story. I've always written that way. It makes it fun to go back and read my work when I'm finished because, until I do that, I don't know what's happened. LOL I guess I write by the seat of my pants.
However, that could be an excellent idea for someone who needs more structure than I do. After setting up my plot line, I wrote down some questions to help guide me along. I can't remember ever trying it this way before. Wow. I'm trying all sorts of new things with this NaNo thing. It's very thrilling.
I'd better dash and get going on my research. I'm not sure how many objects I want to use or what eras I want each of them to represent. I think I know the very first one though, so that will help me narrow down the other ones.
