Re: Who likes shorter chapters?

I think it depends on the type of book, at least it does for me. If it is a fast-paced thriller, I prefer shorter chapters that move the story along quickly. It adds more excitement to it and fit the genre well. Usually with fantasy or Sci-Fi novels, the chapters are longer, which is fine with me because there seems to be a lot more description in them. My personal preference for chapters is 7-12 pages. *Smile*
