A warm welcome to our newbies; come meet new and not-so-new members of Writing.Com! |
I have finally joined writing.com after a long time of just reading around on the page. I have mostly been reading interactive stories, those which are long enough and have a decent plot. Unfortunately there is a rather large number of interactives which requires a reaction like this: I come, I read, I flee. (That may be because the stories viewed are 18+ when you're NOT a member.) But luckily there also is a large number of great stories and some of them are quite long. (Or one of them is, depending on what a "long" interactive is) Writing.com is the only place where I would prefer the grade system at my school to a 1-5 stars scale. -3 to 12 can say much more than 1 to 5 (Don't ask why the scale is like that, I tried but the won't/can't answer) I like fantasy and adventure stories the most, but certainly prefer it with some comedy in it. A mix of those three is the ideal genre. (If you ask me) I (strongly) dislike interactives that start with "no male/no female interaction" . You just know it's plot-less when you see that as it clearly reveals that the story is based on sexuality. (luckily most of them are gone now that it filters 18+ stories) I don't understand why some people think that two men in the same story means gay and two women in the same story means lesbian. That's like saying "story=sex", which I believe is a miscalculation of epic proportions. Now where was I?.. Oh yeah, introducing myself. As I said, I like fantasy and adventure stories. I also like to make up different endings and choices for existing stories, movies or games. So I probably won't be writing stories, just adding to interactives. I can't think of anything else to tell right now, but I know I'll think of something right after I press "Submit Post!" Oh well, It's 06:00 (in the morning) I better go to sleep soon... <I have been unable to join because I couldn't come up with a username> Don't ask me if that's true or not, I'm not sure I know. |
