Hi Amber. I want to start by saying welcome to the site! Now, I'm gonna hit this point by point so I can keep my thoughts in line.

1-Paid Memberships) The paid memberships do offer other things like folders, message forums, and all of that, but anyone can access those. I mean, here you're posting in a message forum, you just can't host it in your portfolio. The basis of this site is writing and with the Static Item feature, you can put your work up for everyone to see. Also, you can get a higher membership through one of the Angel Resources. 2-Viewing Entries) As soon as you click submit on a work, it automatically goes up on the site. All you have to do is click into your My Portfolio page to see them. If you still can't see them, it may have something to do with how your content rating is set.

3-Advertisements) The advertisements are there so that money can still come into the site through them. Each time they're viewed, the owners of WDC get paid. Hosting a website this massive costs a lot of money, and without ads this site probably wouldn't be here.
